Climate change is very intersectional and does not have a single comprehensive solution. It is vital that climate action stems from understanding these complex dependencies. In this light, our climate action team is passionate and committed to finding meaningful ways to take action with available resources. After thorough discussion, we launched our first workshop - The Week of Sustainability. This project is targeted at a vast audience and aims to equip the typical Indian with the knowledge and perspective to transform their lifestyles to be more planet-friendly. Our project is based on the belief that we all have the power to make positive changes around us by acting within our capabilities as a community. Every decision taken with an ecological mindset could add up to be collectively impactful. Climate change is an ‘everybody problem’, and we need ‘everybody’s effort’. We also engage with community resilience, green jobs, and the intersectionality of climate change. At HFSW, we believe in action through education and awareness among young people to bring tangible and meaningful change. This is especially significant for climate action because young people are the major stakeholders in the planet’s future. Experience, Systemic Trauma, Liberation Therapy, Health Equity Parth Sharma is a decolonial researcher, liberation therapist and culture worker specialising in providing psychotherapy to survivors of systemic violence. As a researcher he works at the intersections of health equity, policy reform and resistance praxis. Parth holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Psychology, and English, a Master's in Clinical Psychology, and an International Diploma in Mental Health, Human Rights, and Law. “We need collective liberation to heal from the harm of systemic violence.” Parth is the founder of T&F India (a volunteer driven lived experience youth coalition) and a core member of Bystanders No More (a multinational human rights volunteer initiative). His advocacy for human rights extends to print media publications for The Hindu, The Palestine Chronicle and Analyst News among others.
