Intern - Human Rights Treaty Bodies (June 2019 - September 2019)

Outlined the first draft of the List of Issues (LoI), and LoI prior to the reporting of countries such as India, Japan, Albania, etc. Compiled the jurisprudence of the 21st session of the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). Assisted in the organizing of the 22nd Session of CRPD by drafting notes for the chair, and researching on behalf of the committee members. Attended several other Human Rights sessions / meetings and activetly participated in the same.

World Health Organisation (WHO)

 

Intern - Global Coordination Mechanism / Prevention of Non-Communicable Diseases and Mental Health (GCM/NCD) (September 2019 - December 2019)

Assisted in organizing a global meeting on NCDs by drafting briefs, contacting speakers, tabulating updates, and making coordination calls. Supported activities that design, develop, and populate the comprehensive GCM/NCD portal (Knowledge Action Portal (KAP)). This resulted in multi-sectoral and multi-stakeholder NCD policies, tools, and program dissemination to 100 countries, and several NGOs.
